The End

I didn't learn everything about Ireland in a single trip; but I learned enough to know that I will return.
Ireland.

Once back in Dublin we had some free time to tour the National Museum of Ireland before attending our good-bye dinner with the group.  Stephen definitely saved the best meal for last.  Since we didn't have an early flight, our small group stayed up visiting with others over few pints of beer.

I will forever remember the memories made during our family trip to Ireland and I am so happy to have been able to give this gift to my mom.  We had the best experiences and I already know that I will someday return to the beautiful emerald isle.

As usual I attended the Rick Steves Tour Reunion held in Edmonds, WA.  I was hosted in Seattle by friends from my Spain tour in 2012.  The reunion is a really great way to stay in touch with past tour members, guides and even bus drivers.  I enjoyed catching up with everyone and look forward to my RS trip in 2014.

The reunion also allows you to get to know other guides and experience potential future tours.  In 2010, at my France tour reunion, an Irish guide named Stephen gave a little speech and told a few funny tales.  From that moment I knew I wanted to go to Ireland and could only be blessed to have Stephen as the guide.  Luck of the Irish.
